The first message in a bottel

Sometimes we all need help. Someone to tell us what to expect, what they learned by falling so we don't all have to fall and scrape our knees up to learn the same lesson, and lets face it, sometimes your just not going to listen to Mom and Dad.

I know, I was your age too.

I'm not here to spout the wisdom that has been smacked over your head already. At least not the same way. What kind of older sister would I be if I did that?

No, you wont hear this just about anywhere else. This is about boys and girls and about your body. It's about the world today and what it has been and what it will become. It's about finding yourself and being strong in this world today. I might even teach you how to debate and sound like a young adult when trying to get your way.

But it's said in the way that only a Big Sister can say it. I will tell you some of the things I say may not be something Mom and Dad agree with, but I'm not them. I know some of the things you say that Mom and Dad would wag their finger at you for. Don't worry I won't rat you out, Sister Oath of Silence.

So I hope you will read, and even write me back.

After all these letters are for you,

With Love,
Katie
